whats a good bluesy set-up?
I own an epiphone les paul standard with dual humbuckers. i want to get a warmer bluesier tone with it. i was looking at getting an epiphone valve junior and maybe with an ts-9 tube screamer. I want to be able to play SRV, hendrix, albert king, albert collins. buddy guy, bb king, led zeppelin, and the doors. any advice about this combo or another similair combo would be appreciated

IMO,
If yer not looking for your own individual sound. You may be able to get a good tone from the gear you say yer gonna get, Unfortunately; you will not get all the guitar tones yer be looking for. Good news, a tube screamer may not be neccessary for the two Alberts, Zepp, and Doors, and some BB King sounds but definately not Buddy, Jimi, or Stevie.
In my experience with the Valve Junior, it breaks up fairly early considering the volume (though it is a decent loud for its size). The trio of Jimi, Buddy, & Stevie used clean tones (to some extent) in their playing. The Fender Blues Junior amp (the tweed model has a better speaker) is a more authentic clean sound but breaks up at the right practice volume. You may be able to get 70%-80% (maybe less if you are very particular) of these 3 guys' sound but no more because they were strat players and you will definately need the tube screamer for them other guys sound. If you get a strat you may get to about 80%-90% of their sound as they all had very definitive strat sounds that differ from regular strats.
With a Fender set up, you maybe closer to the big 3 but further away in sounding like the others, especially Zepp. Jimmy Page of Led Zep used a Rat Distortion which is basically a fuzz pedal which borders on distortion. It all depends on what matters to you more: The aforementioned strat players sound, the humbucker sound of the other blues legends, and or the particularity or closeness to the tones you want from those guys.
P.S.-Early B.B. King uses a significant amount of reverb.
