I'm Using A Capo, So Why Is My Guitar still buzzing?
It usually buzzes on the 6th, 5th, and 4th strings. What can I do to fix this? I am playing at the talent show at my lock in tonight with it, so I need this problem fixed fast. What do you think is wrong. Is it the guitar, or the capo, or me. I just bought the capo 2 weeks ago. It is a Dunlop acoustic trigger capo. If that helps. and my guitar is a fender squier 6 string acoustic. Thanks!
I get this same problem all the time! It's buzzing most likely because its dehydrated. Put a wet sponge or cloth in it and cover up the opening, let it sit for a few hours and it will be good as new! If its really dehydrated it may have to sit over night. It might also be because you are leaving it sit leaned against a wall or something, if that's the case, the wet sponge will also set it strait. Good Luck! I'm 99.9% sure this is the answer to your problem!
Edit: Its not the squires fault! Squires are one of the most under rated guitars. Ive owned a Squire for years and it has always been one of my favorites, right up there with my Martin. It's dehydrated!
