what pickups should i get?
i might be getting a used epiphone les paul custom and i was wondering what pickups i should put in it (i don't like the stock pickups very much) i was eaither thinking the seymour duncan hot rodded humbucker set or the gold EMG 81, 85 (or 81, 60) i play allot of stuff from pop punk to metal so what would be the best and for an amp i have a peavey vyper 30
Seymour duncans are likely to be more suited to different styles of playing, whereas EMGs are very focussed on metal styles, its up to you, but the sound is the main difference, maybe you could look them up on youtube and decide from that.
