Why does my amp scream and hiss when I turn it on?
I have a peavey valveking 212 amp when I turn it on it makes a huge hissing sound like an untuned radio or tv station and its impossible to play. It has to be something with the amp as I have tried 3 different guitars with it and i get the same result.I have tried it with pedals and without and it is the same. Can someone please give me some advice?
Could be an earthing fault. Don't plug in your guitar until you have had it checked out
