i have a fender blues junior now and i can only get some mild tube distortion. i want something so i can play some rock and get a nice boost effect to play some blues.
Some rock and blues will not require a pedal like that. Get a blues driver, or a maxxon od-808 or Ibanez ts-9. I prefer the tone you get from a tube amp, then if you need more, to add in with a little overdrive pedal. Another thing you can do is get a compressor/sustainer pedal, like a Boss CS-2 or modded CS-3, and also to get an EQ pedal like an MXR 10 band EQ.
