need help arranging my effects pedal board. Does anyone have any insight to this?

*** I can't find the best way to arrange them and get no hum from when they're off. I put the gate at the end of the chain and that seems to work best. Do any pedal freaks have a trick to share about arrangement?.....PLEASE!!
have as many of them plugged into a wall outlet as possible. I would even try to find a Power Conditioner to plug them all into and attach it to your board
