I have a 72 think it's a super beetle removed all fenders and bumpers trying to put paddles on it any ideas?
I assume you mean sand paddles and I also assume that your having trouble fitting them because they are rubbing the inside of the tire. It does not matter if it's a super or not.
you need the correct off set rim to make this work. possible to use wheel spacers but they are not recomended as they move the wheel away from the hub making it weak. If they will not fit inside the wheel wells than there going to be to tall for the engine to turn any way. paddles are only good for big engine sand cars that are light weight.
to know if your car is a super or not open the trunk is the spare tire upright leaning back slightly? than it's a super. if the tire is laying horizonal it's a standard.
