Has anyone noticed that Bernie Williams is now playing for Puerto Rico?
I was 1 for 2 I believe and looks to be in excellent shape. He said he's looking to possibly play in the MLB again. Do you think he should and if so do you think the Yankees might offer him a contract?

Hard to pick a best answer. Everyone has stated some very good points. Yes, he's 40 but seems to be in Great Shape. I wouldn't want to see him go with another team however. Bernie is a Yankee, period. Still, he could spot start and DH. Afterall he is a switch hitter!
I did not know until someone from Y/A mentioned it a few days ago. I think it's great! I did hear that Bernie stated if the moment is right for himself and his family and he does well in the WBC (sees if he still has the talent), he could see himself seriously considering coming back. Why not? If he still has enough in him to play in the MLB it would be awesome to see him again.
But I don't believe it would be for the Yankees, they don't need him right now. Sounds like he'd be willing to go to another team though.
