Oz Experience route or Greyhound trip?
Hi , I'm planning a trip in Australia to travel around. Should I do the Oz experience's Knobs and Bells (Cairns to Alice Springs)
Or Greyhounds Best of East (Cairns - Brisbane - Alice Springs - Sydney - Melbourne - Adelaide).
Your help would be much appriciated, I will be doing work in between stops.
Looking at the routes, I'd go for the Knobs and Bells though they both cover some very interesting ground.
I'd go for Knobs and Bells for 2 reasons:
• because it goes along the Victorian coast from Lakes Entrance and you can take in Wilson's Promontory and some absolutely beautiful places between the two. The Greyhound takes the inland road between Canberra and Melbourne and I've always found that pretty boring.
• I don't think I could handle a cross country bus trip between Alice Springs and Cairns. A few mildly interesting places with an awful lot of absolutely nothing in between.
Both look great though. Have an amazing time!
